1stDibs is a high-price, long-wait channel: load only pieces you can narrate deeply, price 30–50% above your minimum, and absorb the 20% platform fee without flinching. Success depends on professional photography (3x3 white box, strong light, AI-enhanced for setting never to conceal defects), storytelling in the description (truthful romance of form, never fabricated facts), and patience—liquidity comes in months, not days. Use it when full price matters more than speed, after the private circuit has been exhausted.
The Method's take
